how the logo came about

I have been sent a tasteless but amusing email, showing how the logo for next year's Olympics was designed. After the recent regrettable business over China's growth and the blooming hundred flowers I'm reluctant to provoke another international incident by publishing it here, but if you want to see it, email me:

    I say!

    It has an uncanny likeness to a streetmap map of Kalimbuka. Chez moi is at the 'U' turn towards the bottom left. The main Blantyre - Zomba highway is towards the top. The Mental Hospital is clearly marked by a circle at the top. Did they get it from Google Maps? If so, why choose Kalimbuka?

    MM - they told me it was from the satellite over the McDonald Institute. Is it significant that there's no road into the mental hospital?
